Marji’s home was 100% accurate with the pictures, and pristinely clean when we arrived. If anything, it may have been bigger in person, and just perfect for my boyfriend and me. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed to make a meal, and the bathroom was large enough that the both of us could easily be in there getting ready at the same time. There is no AC in the living room but it’s quite breezy with both doors open, and the AC in the bedroom was much needed and appreciated for sleeping. There is mosquito netting on the front door, bedroom sliding door and back patio, but nothing is 100% perfect. There may be a mosquito or two that manage to sneak by when the front door is open, but Marji provides a racket of sorts to kill them (we did not need this.) Best feature is probably the hammock on the patio, although we were out so much doing stuff we did not have a chance to even use it much, but the few times we did, it was so peaceful napping in the breeze. The location is the perfect driving distance to beaches south, and the grocery stores, and an easy 15 minute walk into downtown (or quick 5 minute drive.) The best part is that Marji happened to be on the island while we were there and she is absolutely one of the kindest people and has tons of local knowledge and recommendations. She is super fast at responding and was in and out of the unit (with our permission of course) evaluating and doing repairs which really shows her dedication to her properties and their upkeep. I’m really looking forward to returning again in the near future and staying at Marji’s home.
