We stayed in Blue Loft and really enjoyed it. The unit has a separate bedroom and both bedroom and living room/kitchen are quite large. Being on the 3rd floor meant really nice breezes coming through the screened windows and sliding door which face onto the canal; I would imagine that units on the ground floor may have gotten warm at night without the 3rd floor breezes. Marji was great and the unit is very nicely outfitted with everything you could want for cooking and eating, and even a cell phone, little portable cooler and fold-up chairs. There is a balcony on the side opposite the canal and it faces inland. Its about a 10-15 minute walk to the south end of town but there are 2-3 good restaurants within a 2-5 minute walk before town; Joe’s grill is good and just a 1-2 min walk down the road. It’s a short 3-5 minute walk to the beach in front of the Plaza Resort hotel which is adjacent to this complex. The complex is safe and quiet.
